Experience

University College Dublin

I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Psychology, UCD. My work at UCD is on an Enterprise Ireland-funded research project examining user attitudes towards health technologies and care. I am involved in the qualitative investigation of patients’ attitudes/cognitions, for subsequent inclusion within a patient-focused psychometric tool.

Trinity College Dublin

I  held the position of Research Assistant at the Centre for Innovative Human Systems in the School of Psychology, TCD. I worked on two EU-FP7 research projects on a fixed-purpose contract basis, in the area of security. My role involved end-user requirements elicitation, as well as the application of user-centred design principles and operational analysis methods. I engaged in qualitative data gathering and analysis, interviewing, fieldwork, and report writing as well as identifying sources of funding.
